FLIR Receives Manufacturing Award from Portland Business Journal

Earlier today, the Portland Business Journal honored FLIR as the Oregon Manufacturing Company of the Year for its Wilsonville, Oregon operations. The Portland Business Journal’s Oregon Manufacturing Awards recognize manufacturing companies that help drive the region’s economy through innovation and strategic evolution.

FLIR’s Wilsonville facilities serves as both the company’s corporate headquarters and the manufacturing facility for our airborne systems like the Star SAFIRE 380 HLDc. These products are used by the military and law enforcement for surveillance and search and rescue missions. The facility has been critical to the company’s growth and has help us differentiate under our Commercially Developed, Military Qualified (CDMQ) business model.

FLIR is honored to receive this award and thanks its employees for their dedication to helping provide innovative, intelligent imaging solutions to our customers. We also thank the Portland Business Journal for the recognition.
