FLIR Fans: Top 5 Community Posts, July 2018
We love seeing how our diverse community finds new ways to use thermal in their day-to-day lives. We encourage all of our audience to share their cool images or new findings using FLIR with us on social media for a chance to be included in our monthly round up and become an official “FLIR Fan” using the hashtag #FLIR! Here are some of our favorites from July 2018:
1.
Why we love it: This great share by @gadgetsboy from London shows how you can use the FLIR ONE Pro to #SeetheHeat in more than one situation! Fun and creative shot of the Central Underground Line.
2.
Why we love it: We love thermies! What’s a thermie? It’s like a selfie, but in FLIR thermal! Share your next #thermie using #FLIR! @ishank95 posted our favorite thermie this month for #selfiesaturday. See if you can get creative and get featured next month!
3.
Why we love it: Okay, pretty hard to not love dogs, right? @michaelgray_42 shared this photo of his ‘hot dog’ (get it? Thermal pun!) how much colder his nose is from the rest of his body.
4.
Why we love it: That looks like a serious problem! @kentucky_thermal_institute spotted this water damage using a thermal camera, but made sure to verify with a moisture meter. While some moisture issues are more obvious than others, it’s always important to verify your findings. Learn more about using thermal for moisture damage scenarios here.
FLIR makes an all-in-one moisture meter and thermal imaging camera, the FLIR MR176 for identification and verification all in the same device.
5.
Why we love it: One of our favorite power users @lookthermography captures great real-life examples of day-to-day thermographic inspections and findings. He uses one of our FLIR T-Series line of thermography cameras for high thermal sensitivity and resolution. These are used for power line inspections, predictive maintenance and much more.
