FLIR and Rockford Fosgate Announce Entertainment Control Partnership

Today at the Miami International Boat Show, Raymarine announced a partnership with Rockford Fosgate, an industry leader in high-performance audio systems, in the development of integrated audio solutions for use with Raymarine’s Multifunction Displays (MFDs) for the marine industry.

The first model Rockford Fosgate to offer Raymarine integration is the PMX-5 digital media receiver. The PMX-5 will integrate via CAN bus to the Raymarine MFD where a custom designed user interface will be displayed. This easy-to-use Raymarine menu system is fully featured with all the controls found on the Rockford Fosgate head radio unit, including Bluetooth , Pandora compatibility, SIRIUS XM and control of true two independently sourced zones.

Raymarine will deliver PMX-5 integration in the next release of the LightHouse II operating system in March of 2016, and will provide support for future Rockford Fosgate audio systems.

Raymarine will have products on display in the FLIR/Raymarine booth at the Miami International Boat show where visitors will have the opportunity to test drive and interact with Rockford Fosgate audio systems directly from Raymarine-branded multifunction navigation displays.
